The Wegener Pro Sanitate Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 2000 by Mr. Wilhelm Wegener, the majority owner of both Zarah Moden and New Fashion companies, whose aim is to improve the standard of living of the local community and to offer help when and where it is needed.
BASIC PRINCIPLES
Mr. Wilhelm Wegener’s generous contributions helped the local Hospital tremendously with medical instruments and other equipment, as well as the renovations of the Vigadó House of Culture. Beside his donations, he decided to establish the Pro Sanitate Foundation in 2000, to perform further charitable activities.
As its name suggests, the aim of the foundation is healthcare improvement, but aside from this it promotes the development and education of talented young people, it supports families and children in need as well as elderly people. Furthermore, it helps the social inclusion of disadvantaged people and supports many charitable events and activities organized by others.
